Torque motors are high-pole synchronous motors and do not require a downstream gearbox to reduce speed and increase torque. Due to their very rigid load coupling, the direct drives are used in high-precision rotary axes and applications with rapid load changes. The power transmission between the drive and output side is contactless and there are no mechanical components in the drive train. The result is a wear-free and maintenance-free drive with maximum efficiency. We also offer torque motors with liquid cooling so that no additional process heat is introduced in the machine tool sector. CAD data is available for download.

Torque motors DMR | HIWIN

Especially for the automation technology range. DMR torque motors are ready-to-install motor elements consisting of a stator and rotor. Thanks to the high continuous and peak torques, the direct drive enables high acceleration and therefore short cycle times. Thanks to the integrated temperature sensor, the motor component is absolutely maintenance-free and wear-free. CAD data and technical drawings are available for download.
Torque motors TM-5

The TM-5 series torque motors are ready-to-install motor elements consisting of a stator and rotor, specially designed for the machine tool range. Thanks to the integrated cooling channels, the torque motor can be operated with liquid cooling. This means that no additional process heat is introduced into the machine and higher continuous torques can be achieved. The wear- and maintenance-free direct drives are characterised by high torques and a low cogging torque.
